Ingredients
- 1 cup pearl millet (bajra)
- 1/4 cup split green gram
- 1/4 cup small grained rice (kanki)
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tablespoon carom seeds (ajwain)
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon green chilli paste
- 8 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup ghee
Method
- Combine bajra, moong dal and rice and grind them coarsely. Transfer into a bowl.
- Add salt, carom seeds, ginger paste, green chilli paste, buttermilk and whisk to mix well. Transfer the mixture into a pan and cook, stirring continuously till it reaches a thick consistency.
- Dribble ghee from top and serve hot.
