Ingredients
- 1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dry ginger powder (soonth)
- A pinch clove powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
Method
- Mix together apricots, raisins, cinnamon powder, ginger powder and clove powder.
- In a medium saucepan, boil together one cup of water and sugar, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.
- Add the apricot mixture and vinegar. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for ten minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool for five minutes. Serve warm.
