By Sanjeev Kapoor 24 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Medium apple, Dry roasted semolina Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Apple Sheera 1 Medium apple peeled and chopped 1 cup Dry roasted semolina 3 tablespoons Ghee 1 pinch Salt 3 cups Milk a large pi Saffron 1 cup Sugar 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 10-12 Pistachios blanched and slivered a few to garnish Apple slices Method Heat ghee in a deep non-stick bottom pan, add semolina and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add apple, mix and saute for 4-5 minutes. Add salt and mix well. Add milk and mix. Add saffron, mix, cover the pan and cook till all the liquid is absorbed. Add sugar and cardamom powder, mix well, cover and cook till for 5-6 minutes.
