Ingredients list for Apple Banana Duet

  • 2 Apple peeled and diced
  • 2 Bananas peeled
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Jaggery (gur)
  • a pinch Green cardamom powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Corn flakes crushed
  • 4 Digestive biscuits crushed
  • for garnishing Cashewnuts


  1. Preheat the oven at 250°C.
  2. Add lemon juice to the apples and set aside. In a large bowl mix together jaggery, green cardamom powder, cinnamon powder, butter, cornflakes and biscuits.
  3. Arrange the apples and bananas in a baking tray. Pour the butter mixture on top. Put the cashewnuts on top. Bake in the preheated oven for ten minutes. Serve hot.
