By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Jul 2020 in Recipes Non Veg New Update Main Ingredients Shark fish baby, Tamarind Cuisine Sri Lankan Course Main Course Seafood Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Ambul Thiyal - SK Khazana 500 grams Shark fish baby fillet, cut into 1 inch pieces 6-7 Tamarind (gorake) soaked in water 2 inch Ginger sliced 3-4 Green chillies 1/2 inch stick Cinnamon to taste Salt 15-20 Curry leaves as required Banana leaves 1 teaspoon Oil Fresh coriander sprigs a few + for garnish Method Out ginger, green chillies, cinnamon and gorake in a blender jar, add sufficient water and blend into a smooth paste. Take fish pieces in a bowl, add the ground paste, salt and curry leaves. Add a little water in which gorake was soaked and mix well. Line an earthen pot with a piece of banana leaf and grease it with a little oil. Place the fish pieces in it, add coriander sprigs, cover the pot and place it on heat. Cook till the fish is cooked completely.
