Ingredients list for Aam Ka Panna by Alyona Kapoor
- 1 kilogram Green mangoes
- 3 cups Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- a pinch saffron strands
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg powder
- as required Ice cubes
- for garnish Fresh mint sprigs
Method
- Wash and boil the mangoes and set aside to cool. Peel the mangoes; mash and strain the pulp.
- Blend together mango pulp, sugar, cardamom powder, saffron and nutmeg powder to a smooth paste.
- Pour spoonful of prepared mango paste into individual glasses. Add lots of ice cubes and top with chilled water.
- Garnish with mint sprigs and serve chilled.
