Ingredients
- 2 small tomatoes
- 3 dry red chillies
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon split black gram skinless (dhuli urad dal)
- a pinch asafoetida
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- Salt to taste
Method
- Wash and chop tomatoes. Remove stems and break whole red chillies into two. Heat oil and add mustard, urad dal, whole red chillies and asafoetida.
- Add chopped tomatoes and fry for about five minutes over a low heat. Set aside to cool. After it has cooled down, mix it well with yogurt and salt.
- Serve cold.
