By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Nov 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Sesame seeds (til), Ghee Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 51-60 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Til ki Burfi 1 cup Sesame seeds (til) 3 tablespoons Ghee at room temperature 1½ cups Khoya/mawa grated ½ cup Sugar 5-6 Almonds chopped 5-6 Pistachios chopped Method Heat a non-stick pan, add sesame seeds and dry-roast till light light brown. Set aside to cool. Grease an 8x6 inch tray. Heat ghee in a non-stick kadai. Add khoya and sauté on low heat till light pink and fragrant. Add roasted sesame seeds and sugar, and continue to sauté for 3-4 minutes or till the sugar dissolves completely. Add chopped nuts and mix well. Transfer to the greased tray, level the surface and set aside to cool. Cut into desired shapes and serve.
