Ingredients list for Simple Curry Powder

  • 1/2 cup Coriander Seeds
  • 2 inch sticks Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Fennel seeds (saunf)
  • 15-18 Curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Rice (raw)
  • 1 Green cardamom
  • 1-2 Cloves
  • 2 inch pieces Rampa/Pandanus leaves (optional)

Method

  1. Grind together coriander seeds, cinnamon stick, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, curry leaves, raw rice, green cardamom, cloves and rampa to a fine powder.
  2. Store this powder in an airtight container and use as required.
