Heat 3 tbsps ghee in a non-stick pan. Add crushed green gram and sauté for ½ hour. Add milk, stir to mix and cook till the milk reduces. Take bread slices and cut out roundels from them using a medium size cookie cutter. Heat remaining ghee in another non-stick pan. Place bread roundels on it and shallow-fry till evenly golden from both sides. Drain on absorbent paper. Add Milkmaid to green gram and mix well. Add cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, raisins and chopped almonds and mix well. Cook till the mixture turns golden. Place fried bread roundels on a serving dish and put spoonful on Milkmaid on each. Make quennels of the cooked green gram mixture and place on each roundel. Decorate with silver leaf. Serve immediately.
