Ingredients list for Schezwan Chicken Pakora

  • 350 grams Chicken cut into strips
  • 4 teaspoons Schezwan Chutney
  • 10-15 Garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 inch Ginger
  • 1/4 cup Curry leaves
  • to deep fry Oil
  • 1/2 cup Rice flour
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Grind garlic, ginger and curry leaves with a little water and put the paste in a bowl. Add schezwan chutney and chicken strips and mix well. Add a little water and mix and set aside to marinate for ½ hour.
  2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  3. Place rice flour in a plate, add a little salt and mix well. Roll the chicken strips in this, dust off excess flour, slide into hot oil and deep-fry till golden and crisp.
  4. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
