Ingredients list for Prawns Rolled In Bacon

  • 12-16 Prawns
  • 12-16 Bacon rashers
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Black peppercorns crushed
  • 1 inch piece Ginger grated
  • a few Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Method

  1. Take bacon rashers. Put one prawn in each and roll tightly. Secure with a toothpick.
  2. Mix together salt, crushed peppercorns, ginger, coriander leaves and lemon juice in a bowl. Marinate prawn rolls in this and mix to coat them evenly. Allow to marinate for thirty minutes.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan. Place marinated prawns in pan. Do not add any oil as bacon contains fat. Apply excess marinade on prawns. Cook on one side and turn. Continue to cook till other side is cooked too.
  4. Serve hot.
