Ingredients for Pomfret With Salsa Verde Recipe

  • Pomfret 4

  • Parsley 3

  • Salt to taste

  • For salsa Parsley large 1 bunch

  • Pine nuts(chilgoza) 1/4 cup

  • Cocktail gherkins 5 small

  • Green olives 8

  • Garlic crushed 2-3 cloves

  • Lemon juice 3 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • White pepper powder to taste

  • Extra virgin olive oil 8 tablespoons


Step 1

Prepare salsa verde by blending parsley, pinenuts, gherkins, olives, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper powder in a food processor .

Step 2

Gradually add the extra virgin olive oil to form a creamy paste.

Step 3

Adjust the seasoning. Heat the olive oil in a non stick pan.

Step 4

Place the fish fillets, sprinkle salt and cook on low heat.

Step 5

Turn the fish and sprinkle salt on the other side too.

Step 6

. Cook till the fish is evenly done on both the sides. Serve the fish with salsa verde.
