Ingredients 

  • 2 teaspoons crushed black peppercorns 
  • 350 grams lady fingers
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2-3 green chillies, slit
  • Sea salt to taste
  • 1 cup sambhar onions, halved
  • 2 teaspoons tamarind pulp
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Method

  1. Slit the ladyfingers into four vertically and then halve each of them. Heat oil in a pan, add green chillies and sauté for a minute.
  2. Add ladyfingers and sea salt and stir. Add sambhar onions, tamarind pulp and crushed peppercorns and toss well.
  3. Cover and cook on medium heat till the ladyfingers are done.
  4. Drizzle coconut oil and toss. Serve hot.
