By Sanjeev Kapoor 26 Oct 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Spinach (palak), Basmati rice Cuisine Indian Course Rice Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Palak Wale Chawal-SK Khazana 2 medium bunches Spinach (palak) shredded 1 1/2 cups Basmati rice soaked and drained 1 tablespoon Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 inch Ginger finely chopped 2-3 Green chillies finely chopped 3-4 Spring onion bulbs finely chopped to taste Salt for garnish Spring onion greens sliced Method Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds, ginger and green chillies, mix and sauté till fragrant. Add spring onion bulbs and sauté till translucent. Add rice and mix. Add salt and mix well. Add 3 cups water, stir to mix and bring to a boil. Add spinach leaves and mix well. Cover and cook till fully done.
