By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Jul 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Basmati rice, Button Mushrooms Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Rice Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Mushroom Pulao 1 cup Basmati rice 24 Button Mushrooms sliced 2 tablespoon Green cardamoms 4 Cloves 12 inch sticks Cinnamon 1 Star anise 1 medium Onion, sliced 1 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste 2-3 Green chillies, sliced 1 medium Tomato, chopped to taste Salt 1/2 cup Coconut milk 1/2 cup Coriander and mint chutney, chopped Method In a pressure cooker heat butter, add cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, star anise and saute well till fragrant. Add rice and saute well for a minute. Add onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and tomatoes. Mix well. Add mushrooms and saute again. Add salt, coconut milk, water and chopped mint and coriander leaves. Mix well.
