Ingredients list for Mixed Vegetable Usli

  • 150 grams French beans finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Green peas
  • 1 large Carrot finely chopped
  • 1 small Cauliflower separated into small florets
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 Dried red chilli halved
  • to taste Salt
  • 3 tablespoons Scraped coconut

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and allow them to sputter.
  2. Add red chilli and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add the vegetables, one-by-one, and sauté for two minutes.
  4. Add salt and little water, if required, stir and simmer till the vegetables are cooked.
  5. Add coconut and mix well. Serve hot.
