Ingredients 

  • 1/2 large onion
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 medium medium cucumber
  • 1/2 medium radish
  • 1 tablespoon sumac powder
  • 6-8 rocket leaves
  • 6-7 fresh mint leaves
  • 5-7 iceberg lettuce leaves
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly crushed black peppercorns to taste 
  • 1/2 lemon, juice extracted
  • 2-3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Method

  1. Slice onion. Roughly chop tomatoes and cucumber. Roughly slice radish. Put all the vegetables in a bowl.
  2. Roughly tear rocket leaves, mint leaves and iceberg lettuce leaves and add to the same bowl.
  3. Crush garlic cloves and add. Add salt and black peppercorns. Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon into the bowl.
  4. Add sumac powder and extra virgin olive oil and mix everything well.
  5. Arrange the salad on a serving platter and serve immediately.
