Ingredients for Masala Banana Chips - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Raw Kerala bananas 4

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Chaat masala 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Oil for deep-frying

Method

Step 1

To make the spice mixture, take red chilli powder in a bowl, add, turmeric powder, salt and chaat masala and mix well..

Step 2

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.

Step 3

Peel bananas and thinly slice them vertically on a mandolin slicer.

Step 4

Drop the slices into hot oil, a few at a time, and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and transfer into a large bowl.

Step 5

Sprinkle the spice mixture over them, toss and serve as required.
