Ingredients for Malai Broccoli Recipe

  • Broccoli florets , blanched 8-10 large

  • Ginger-garlic paste 2 tablespoons

  • Fresh cream 3 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns , crushed to taste

  • Lemon 1/2

  • Dressing

  • Cream cheese 2 tablespoons

  • Garlic , finely chopped 1/2 tablespoon

  • Black peppercorns , crushed to taste

  • Mustard sauce 2 teaspoons

  • Milk 2-3 tablespoons

  • Salad to serve


Step 1

Take ginger-garlic paste, fresh cream and salt in a large bowl and mix well. Add crushed black peppercorns and mix well.

Step 2

Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon and mix well. Add broccoli pieces and mix well so that all the broccoli florets are well coated with the marinade.

Step 3

Light sufficient charcoal in a barbeque, meanwhile, skewer the broccoli pieces on skewers and place them on the barbeque grill and cook for 10-12 minutes.

Step 4

To make the dressing, take cream cheese, garlic, crushed black peppercorns and mustard sauce in a bowl and mix well. Add milk and mix.

Step 5

Drizzle a little dressing on the broccoli and cook for 1-2 minutes. Take them off the barbecue.

Step 6

Arrange the broccoli florets on a serving plate and drizzle remaining dressing over them and serve hot with salad.
