Ingredients for Linguini With Mushroom Cream Sauce Recipe

  • Linguini 200 grams

  • Button Mushrooms, sliced 12-14 medium

  • Cream 1/2 cup

  • Butter 3 tablespoons

  • Garlic,crushed 3-4 cloves

  • Green capsicum,cut into thin strips 1 medium

  • Red capsicum,cut into thin strips 1 medium

  • Yellow capsicum,cut into thin strips 1 medium

  • Black peppercorns , freshly ground 7-8

  • Dry rosemary,crumbled 1/2 teaspoon

  • Processed cheese,cubed 50 grams

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh parsley,chopped 2 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Melt butter in a heavy, large pan over medium heat. Add garlic, mushrooms and the three coloured capsicums and sauté for two minutes.

Step 2

Add freshly ground pepper, cream and rosemary. Stir well till blended. Add linguini and cheese and stir till cheese melts. Adjust salt.

Step 3

Transfer into serving bowls and serve garnished with fresh parsley.
