Ingredients list for Lettuce Bolognaise-Cook Smart
- 8 Iceberg lettuce cups
- 1 cup Mutton mince
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 Medium onion finely chopped
- 1/4 cup Carrot gratedc
- 2 teaspoons Garlic finely chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Sweet red chilli sauce
- 4-5 sprigs Fresh thyme
- 2 Medium tomatoes finely chopped
- 4 tablespoons Tomato puree
- to taste Black peppercorns crushed
- to sprinkle Parmesan cheese powder
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion, carrot and garlic and saute till they become soft.
- Add mutton mince, mix and saute for 2 minutes. Add salt, red chilli sauce and thyme sprigs, mix well, cover and cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and tomato puree and mix well. Add crushed peppercorns, mix well, cover and cook on medium heat for 20-25 minutes.
- Fill lettuce cups with the mutton mince mixture, place on a serving platter, sprinkle Parmesan cheese powder on top and serve immediately.
