Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Lehsuni Grilled Chicken Recipe

  • Chicken Breast 2

  • Fresh Green Garlic roughly chopped 1 cup

  • Green chillies finely chopped 2

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Black peppercorns crushed 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Garam masala powder 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil 3 tablespoons


Step 1

Place green garlic in a mixer jar, add little water and grind into a paste. Transfer this into a bowl, add green chillies, lemon juice, crushed black peppercorns, garam masala powder, salt and 1 tbsp oil and mix well. Rest for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Make deep diagonal gashes on the chicken breasts. Rub the marinade on the chicken breasts and set aside for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3

Heat the remaining oil in a non-stick grill pan. Place the chicken breasts in the pan and spread the marinade evenly.

Step 4

Cook for 5-7 minutes on one side. Flip, apply the remaining marinade over the chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes.

Step 5

Transfer into a serving plate and serve hot.
