By Sanjeev Kapoor 03 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Bottle Gourd, Khoya Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Lauki Burfi 2 cups Bottle Gourd grated 1 1/2 cups Khoya for greasing Ghee 2 cups Milk 1/2 cup Mixed nuts chopped 1/2 cup Sugar 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder Method Grease an aluminum tray with sufficient ghee. Boil milk in a deep non-stick pan. Add grated bottle gourd and mix. Add khoya, half the chopped nuts and sugar. Mix well and cook for five to ten minutes. Remove from heat, pour into the greased tray and spread evenly. Sprinkle cardamom powder and remaining chopped nuts and set aside for an hour. Cut into desired shapes and serve.
