Corn was indigenous to America, but is now grown throughout the world. It is used as a vegetable, briefly boiled or roasted or eaten with butter. Ingredients for Kalimirch ka poha Recipe

  • Black peppercorns crushed 5-7

  • Peanuts 2 tablespoon

  • Oil 1 tablespoons

  • Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon

  • Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon

  • Green chillies finely chopped 2

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Chaat masala 1 teaspoon

  • coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoon


Step 1

Place poha in a colander and wash well. Drain and set aside.Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add peanuts and sauté till golden brown. Drain on an absorbent paper and set aside.Add cumin seeds in the same oil, once they crackle, add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add green chillies. Sauté for a minute.

Step 2

Add drained poha and toss.Add salt, peppercorns and lemon juice and mix.Add chaat masala, coriander leaves, peanuts and toss. Cook for two to three minutes.Serve hot.
