Ingredients
- 8 medium potatoes, peeled
- Oil for deep frying
- 7-8 tablespoons peanuts
- 2-3 sprigs of curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- ½ teaspoon chaat masala
Method
- Take a bowl with water, grate potatoes and wash the grated potatoes well. Squeeze the grated potatoes and spread on a kitchen towel.
- Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan, deep fry the potatoes till golden and crisp on low heat. Drain on absorbent paper.
- In the same hot oil, deep fry peanuts and drain on absorbent paper. Deep fry the curry leaves and drain on absorbent paper.
- In a bowl, Add the fried potatoes, peanuts and curry leaves, salt, crushed black peppercorns and a pinch of chaat masala, mix well. Serve immediately.
