Ingredients list for Jackfruit seed wada
- 1 cup Jackfruit seeds (atle)
- 1 medium Potato boiled
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 5-6 Green chillies chopped
- 1 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- to taste Salt
- Oil
Method
- Pressure the cook the jackfruit seeds with water for three whistles.
- Remove the cooker and release the pressure. Allow to cool and remove the skin.
- Grind the seeds with green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, coriander leaves and salt.
- Remove and add boiled potatoes and onions to the mixture. Make small balls and keep aside.
- Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick kadai. Deep fry the balls till golden brown in color.
- Serve hot with mint chutney.
