Ingredients list for Hare Lehsun Ki Machchli
- 100 grams Fresh green garlic
- 500 grams Fish fillet
- 2 Green chillies , broken
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
- to taste Salt
- 3 tablespoons Oil
- 25-30 cloves Garlic
Method
- Roughly chop green garlic and put into a mixer jar. Add green chillies, lemon juice and sufficient water and grind into a chutney.
- Cut fish into small cubes and place in a bowl. Add chutney, crushed black peppercorns, salt and mix well. Set aside to marinate for ½ hour.
- Heat oil in a non stick pan. Mash the garlic cloves and add to the pan and saute, stirring, till golden.
- Add fish cubes, cover and cook for 2 minutes. Flip and cook from the other side for 2 minutes.
- Transfer onto a serving plate and serve hot.
