Ingredients for Grilled Pineapple Slush Recipe

  • Pineapples peeled and cut into roundels 2 medium

  • Butter for greasing

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) 2-3 tablespoons

  • Lemon juice 3-4 tablespoons

  • Black salt (kala namak) to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Chaat masala 2 teaspoons

  • Fresh mint leaves 12-15

  • Ice cubes 18-20


Step 1

Heat an electric griller and grease with some butter. Place the pineapple roundels and grill till golden.Transfer in a bowl and cool.

Step 2

Grind the grilled pineapples to make a smooth puree.

Step 3

Strain the pineapple puree into another bowl. Put it back in the blender. Add castor sugar, lemon juice, black salt, salt, chaat masala and mint leaves and blend.Add ice cubes and blend again.

Step 4

Pour into serving glasses and serve garnished with mint sprigs.
