Ingredients for Garlic Grilled Paneer Recipe

  • Cottage cheese cut into cubes 200 grams

  • Garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Mustard paste 1/2 tablespoon

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Black peppercorns crushed to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh cream 1 tablespoon

  • Medium green capsicum cut into cubes 1

  • Medium onion cut into cubes 1

  • Medium red capsicum cut into cubes 1

  • Medium yellow capsicum cut into cubes 1

  • Oil for basting


Step 1

Mix together garlic paste, mustard paste, chilli powder, crushed peppercorns, salt, coriander leaves and cream in a bowl. Add cottage cheese cubes and coat well.

Step 2

Skewer cottage cheese cubes with coloured capsicums and onion onto satay sticks in this order: green capsicum, cottage cheese, onion, cottage cheese, red capsicum, cottage cheese and yellow capsicum.

Step 3

Heat a sandwich griller and brush some oil on it. Place the sticks on it, cover and grill till cottage cheese is cooked and evenly done from all sides.

Step 4

Serve hot with salad.
