Ingredients for Desi Pasta Recipe

  • Penne paste 2 cups

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Cumin seeds 3/4 tablespoons

  • White sesame seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic chopped 3 cloves

  • Onion finely chopped 2 medium

  • Tomato chopped 3

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Lemon juice 2 tablespoons


Step 1

Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and sesame seeds and saute for a minute. Add garlic and onion and saute till onions turn brown in color.

Step 2

Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dried oregano and salt and cook till the tomatoes gets cooked.

Step 3

Add the boiled pasta and toss well. Add coriander leaves and lemon juice and mix well

Step 4

Serve hot.
