Ingredients list for Desi Pasta
- 2 cups Penne paste
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 3/4 tablespoons Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon White sesame seeds
- 3 cloves Garlic chopped
- 2 medium Onion finely chopped
- 3 Tomato chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Dried oregano
- to taste Salt
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
Method
- Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and sesame seeds and saute for a minute. Add garlic and onion and saute till onions turn brown in color.
- Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dried oregano and salt and cook till the tomatoes gets cooked.
- Add the boiled pasta and toss well. Add coriander leaves and lemon juice and mix well
- Serve hot.
