Ingredients list for Chocolate Chips And Jaggery Pancake
- 1 tablespoon Chocolate Chips
- 3/4 cup Jaggery grated
- 1 1/2 cups Wheat flour
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- a pinch Baking soda
- 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
- 1 cup Milk
- for frying sealing and brushing Ghee
- as required Vanilla ice cream
- as required Chocolate sauce
Method
- Sieve together wheat flour, cardamom powder, cinnamon powder, baking soda and cocoa powder into a bowl.
- Heat milk and jaggery in a deep non stick pan, stirring till jaggery dissolves. Add it to the flour mixture and mix well till smooth.
- Heat ghee in another non stick pan. Pour a ladle full of batter into the pan, and swirl the pan to spread evenly.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and cook till the underside is done. Turn it over and cook the other side is equally done.
- Place a scoop of ice-cream on each pancake, drizzle a little chocolate sauce over and serve.
