Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chicken With Coke Tamarind Sauce Recipe

  • Boneless Chicken Breasts grams

  • Coke 300 millilitres

  • Tamarind paste 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli powder 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Black salt (kala namak) 1 teaspoon

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Garlic, crushed 1 tablespoon

  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Slice chicken thinly and put into a bowl. Add garlic paste, 1 tsp red chilli powder, salt, black salt and mix well.

Step 2

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non stick pan, add crushed garlic and sauté till light brown.

Step 3

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non stick grill pan and put chicken slices in it. Cook, stirring occasionally, till they are done.

Step 4

Add tamarind paste to garlic in the pan and saute.

Step 5

Add remaining red chilli powder, salt and mix well. Add cola and mix.

Step 6

Add garam masala powder and mix. Add cola sauce to the grilled chicken and serve hot.
