By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Boneless chicken breasts, Mayonnaise Cuisine American Course Salads Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Chicken Salad 2 Boneless chicken breasts 1 cup Mayonnaise 1 teaspoon Lemon juice to taste Black pepper powder A pinch of MSG (optional) 1 Celery stalk sliced thinly 1 small Apple 1 Egg hard boiled 2 medium Carrots sliced thinly, blanched 1 medium Onion sliced thinly to taste Salt 4 Lettuce leaves Method Boil chicken breasts in salted water for fifteen minutes. Cool and shred. Sprinkle lemon juice, a pinch of salt, black pepper powder and MSG. Soak celery in chilled water for ten minutes. Drain and wipe dry. Peel and core apple and slice thinly. Soak in salt chilled water for ten minutes and drain. Chop egg white and pass the yolk through a sieve. Place chicken, celery, apple, egg white, carrots and onion in a bowl. Pour over mayonnaise and toss well. Adjust salt and black pepper powder. Arrange lettuce leaves in a serving plate and transfer salad on it. Garnish with sieved yolk and serve immediately.
