Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Cook time : 16-20 minutes

Ingredients for Chicken Paprikash Recipe

  • Boneless chicken cut into cubes 450 grams

  • Pasta bow-tie, boiled to serve

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Onions chopped 2 medium

  • Red chilli flakes 1½ teaspoons

  • capsicum mixed, diced 1 cup

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Tomato puree 1 cup

  • Chicken stock ¼ cup

  • Sour cream for garnish

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté for a minute. Add onions, mix and sauté for a minute.

Step 2

Add chili flakes and mix well. Add coloured capsicums, mix and sauté for a minute.

Step 3

Add chicken, mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Add crushed peppercorns and salt and mix well.

Step 4

Add tomato puree, mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Add chicken stock, mix well and simmer till the chicken is fully cooked.

Step 5

Place pasta in a large serving platter. Top with the chicken mixture, garnish with a dollop of sour cream and mint sprig.

Step 6

Serve immediately.
