Ingredients list for Cheese Pockets-SK Khazana

  • 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese grated
  • 3/4 cup Processed cheese grated
  • 3/4 cup Cream cheese
  • 250 grams Readymade pizza dough
  • for greasing Butter
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black peppercorns crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried mixed herbs
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Red capsicum chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow capsicum chopped
  • for dusting Refined flour (maida)
  • for brushi Milk

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180˚C.
  2. Mix together cheddar cheese, processed cheese, cream cheese, salt, crushed peppercorns, mixed herbs, parsley, red capsicum and yellow capsicum in a bowl.
  3. Dust the worktop with some flour. Place the dough on it and roll out into a large thin disc.
  4. Cut into squares, place a spoonful of cheese mixture in the centre of each square, apply water on the edges and bring the edges over. Seal with a fork.
  5. Grease a baking tray with some butter.
  6. Place the pockets on the greased tray and brush with some milk. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
