By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cheese, Fresh coriander leaves Cuisine Punjabi Course Breads Prep Time 31-40 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Cheese And Coriander Parantha 1 cup Cheese grated 1/2 cup Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 3/4 cups for dusting Whole wheat flour (atta) to taste Salt as required Milk 1 inch piece Ginger chopped 2 Green chillies chopped 2 teaspoons Chaat masala to shallow fry Oil or ghee Method Place whole-wheat flour and salt in a bowl. Add coriander leaves and knead into a soft dough using milk. Cover and rest the dough for twenty to twenty five minutes. Divide the dough into eight equal portions. Shape them into balls. Mix cheese with ginger, green chillies and chaat masala. Divide into eight equal portions. Roll out each ball into a medium sized chapati. Spread a portion of the cheese mixture. Fold up like an envelope and roll out into square paranthas. Heat a tawa, place the parantha on it and shallow fry, drizzling a little oil or ghee, till both sides are lightly golden brown and crisp. Cut into four and serve immediately.
