Ingredients list for Charmuri

  • 8 cups Puffed Rice
  • 3 tablespoons Coconut Oil
  • 2 Green chillies chopped
  • 8-10 Curry leaves
  • 2 medium Onions chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • a pinch Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 cup roasted chana
  • 1/4 cup Roasted peanuts
  • 4 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped

Method

  1. Heat coconut oil in a non-stick pan, add green chillies and curry leaves and sauté for half a minute and then add to puffed rice kept in a bowl.
  2. Add onions, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, roasted chana, peanuts, one tablespoon coriander leaves and mix well.
  3. Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle remaining coriander leaves and serve immediately.
