Ingredients list for Butter Caramel Kheer with Cupcakes

  • 6 Mava Cup Cakes
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 tbsp + for garnishing Almonds finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp + for garnishing Pistachios finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 litre Milk
  • 5 tablespoons Soaked rice

Method

  1. Heat sugar in a non-stick pan, add 2-3 tbsps water and cook till the sugar caramelizes.
  2. Add almonds, pistachios, butter, milk and rice and mix well. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring a few times, till the rice is cooked and the kheer is thick.
  3. Place mava cup cakes on a serving plate, pour the hot kheer over them, garnish with pistachios and almonds and serve.
