Ingredients for Burnt Garlic Basil Chicken Recipe

  • Boneless chicken breasts cut into thick strips 2

  • Garlic chopped 1-2 tablespoons

  • Basil leaves 5-7

  • Soy sauce 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil 2 tablespoons


Step 1

Place chicken in a bowl. Add soy sauce and mix. Add chilli flakes and crushed peppercorns, salt and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 2-3 hours.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and saute till golden. Add marinated chicken, mix well and cook till chicken is done.

Step 3

Add torn basil leaves and mix.

Step 4

Serve hot.
