Ingredients for Brownie Cupcakes Recipe

  • Cocoa powder 100 grams

  • Refined flour (maida) 220 grams

  • Baking soda 1 teaspoon

  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon

  • Butter 240 grams

  • Condensed milk 400 grams

  • Vanilla essence 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Walnuts chopped ½ cup + for garnishing

  • Chocolate chips ½ cup + for garnishing

  • Buttermilk 3/4 cup


Step 1

Preheat oven at 180°C.

Step 2

Sift together refined flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder into a bowl and mix well. Set aside.

Step 3

Cream together butter and condensed milk in another bowl with an electric beater till light. Add vanilla essence and beat well.

Step 4

Add walnuts and chocolate chips to the flour mixture and mix well.

Step 5

Add the flour mixture to the butter-condensed milk mixture and fold till well blended. Add buttermilk and mix well.

Step 6

Put the batter into a piping bag and pipe out into individual silicon cupcake moulds. Garnish with chopped walnuts and chocolate chips.

Step 7

Place the moulds on a baking tray and put in the preheated oven. Bake for 30 minutes.

Step 8

Remove from oven, cool and demould. Serve warm.
