Ingredients list for Basil Minced Chicken Canapes
- 10-12 Basil torn
- 350 grams Chicken Mince wash and pat dry
- 16 Canape cups
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 4-5 cloves Garlic chopped
- 2 Onion finely chopped
- 2 medium Spring onion chopped
- 2 Green chilli chopped
- 3 tablespoons Oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon Light soy sauce
- to taste Salt
Method
- Preheat an oven to 150ºC.
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan. Add the garlic, onions and spring onions and sauté for two to three minutes.
- Add the chicken mince and mix well.
- Add half the basil leaves, green chillies, oyster sauce, light soy sauce and salt. Sauté and cook for two minutes.
- Remove from heat and set aside to cool. Once cooled, put the mixture in individual canapés and arrange them in a baking tray.
- Bake in the preheated oven till the canapés are lightly browned.
- Serve immediately, garnished with the remaining basil leaves.
