By Sanjeev Kapoor 03 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Milk, Saffron Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Baked Kesari Pudding 5 cups Milk 1 tablespoon Saffron 1/2 teaspoon Saffron (kesar) 2 1/2 tablespoons Sugar powdered 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder 4 tablespoons Brown sugar 10-12 Almonds blanched Toasted & slivered 2 medium Apples Method Preheat oven to 180°C. Heat milk and when it comes to a boil add lemon juice and let the milk curdle. Drain completely and place the chenna in a bowl. Add saffron, powdered sugar, green cardamom powder and blend with a hand blender. Add baking powder and blend well. Halve and core the apples and slice them thinly. Arrange half the slices in a baking dish. Sprinkle half the brown sugar and then spread the chenna mixture evenly over. Arrange the remaining apple slices along the edges of the dish. Make a thin lining with brown sugar along the apple slices. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for twenty to twenty five minutes. Sprinkle almonds on the top and serve.
