Ingredients for Atte Ka Laddoo Recipe

  • Whole Wheat Flour 2 cups

  • Cashewnuts 12-15

  • Almonds 12-15

  • Ghee 1 cup + for greasing

  • Green cardamom powder 1 teaspoon

  • Powdered sugar 2 cups


Step 1

Sieve the atta through a fine sieve and set aside. Coarsely grind cashew nuts and almonds and set aside. Melt one cup ghee in a kadai. Add atta and cook on low heat till the atta is fragrant. This normally takes about ten to fifteen minutes. Add cardamom powder, cashew nuts and almonds.

Step 2

Stir and take it off the heat. Let it cool for a while. Add the powdered sugar and mix well. You may use your hands to mix this, adding some more melted ghee ( in order to shape the laddoos).

Step 3

Shape into walnut sized round laddoos and store in an airtight container when completely cooled.
