Ingredients
- 2 medium potatoes boiled, peeled and cut into cubes
- 3 tablespoons dried white peas soaked overnight and pressure-cooked with a pinch
- Salt to taste
- ¼ teaspoon cumin powder
- ¼ teaspoon chaat masala
- ½ teaspoon green chillies chopped
- 2 teaspoons fresh coriander leaves, chopped + to garnish
- 1 tablespoon tamarind water + to sprinkle
- 5 crisp puris (puchkas)
Method
- Take potato cubes in a bowl and mash with a fork. Add white peas and mix well.
- Add salt, cumin powder, chaat masala, green chilli and coriander leaves and mix well. Add 1 tbsp tamarind water. Crush crisp puris and add and mix well.
- Transfer aloo churmur onto a serving plate, sprinkle tamarind water, garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately.
