Ingredients
- 2-3 star fruits, sliced and seeded
- Ice cubes as required
- 4-5 fresh basil leaves + for garnish
- A large pinch of salt
- A large pinch of black salt
- ¼ teaspoon red chilli powder
- ¼ cup sugar syrup
- ¼ lemon
- Thin slices of star fruit for garnish
- Bird’s eye chilli for garnish
Method
- Put star fruit slices in a blender jar and blend to a fine paste.
- Put some ice cubes in a Boston shaker, tear basil leaves and add into it. Add salt, black salt and red chilli powder. Strain the star fruit paste directly into the shaker, add sugar syrup and squeeze the juice of lemon. Cover and shake the mixture well.
- Put one ice cube into each shot glass, pour the drink equally into them and garnish with star fruit slice, bird’s eye chilli and basil leaves. Serve immediately.
