Smashed Cucumber Salad

Method

  1. Smash the English cucumbers with the back of a knife and slice them diagonally. Transfer them in a mixing bowl, and set aside for 5-10 minutes. 
  2. To make the dressing, take dark soy sauce in a small bowl, add garlic paste, castor sugar, red chilli oil and rice wine vinegar and mix well. 
  3. Add the dressing to the cucumber mixture and mix well. Add sesame oil and toasted white sesame seeds and mix well. 
  4. Transfer onto a serving plate and serve.
