Ingredients
- ½ cup pressed brown rice (poha)
- 4 ripe yellow bananas
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 8 teaspoons roasted and peeled peanuts + for garnish
- Ice cubes as required
- 2 cups milk
Method
- Heat a non-stick pan, add pressed brown rice and dry roast till crisp. Transfer onto a plate and allow to cool. Reserve some for garnish.
- Peel the bananas, break them into pieces and put them into a jar. Add sugar and muddle with a wooden muddler till well mashed.
- For each portion put 2-3 tablespoons mixture into the serving glass. Add 2 teaspoons roasted peanuts and 2 tablespoons roasted pressed rice and mix well.
- Add ice cubes and top with ½ cup milk, mix well and garnish with roasted peanuts and roasted pressed brown rice. Serve chilled.
