Ingredients list for Wonton Rolls
- 8 Wonton sheets
- 1 medium Onion
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped
- 1 cup Fried potato wedges
- 1 tablespoon Tomato ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Red chilli sauce
- Butter for brushing
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch slurry
Method
- Preheat oven to 180º C. Roughly chop onion.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onion and garlic and sauté till lightly browned.
- Roughly chop potato wedges and place in a bowl, add sautéed ingredients and mix well. Add tomato ketchup and red chilli sauce and mix well.
- Place a wonton sheet on the worktop, brush with butter and cover with another wonton sheet. Similarly use rest of the sheets.
- Place some of the potato mixture in the center of each wanton sheet, apply cornstarch slurry on the sides and fold one edge over another to make a packet.
- Brush a baking tray with butter, place the wanton packets on it and brush the top with some butter. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Arrange the wonton packets on a serving plate and serve immediately.
