Ingredients list for Wheat Lentil Dosa

  • 1/2 cup Rice Flour
  • 1/4 cup Soya Flour
  • 1/4 cup Millet flour (bajre ka atta)
  • as required Buttermilk
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 2 Green chillies chopped
  • to shallow fry Oil
  • as required Tomato ketchup

Method

  1. Mix together the rice, soya and millet flour with the buttermilk to make a smooth batter.
  2. Add the salt, chopped coriander and green chillies, and mix well. Let the batter rest for about fifteen minutes.
  3. Heat a thick non-stick tawa or frying pan.
  4. Add two drops of oil and wipe the tawa clean with a piece of wet muslin.
  5. Add a tablespoon of oil to the tawa; pour half a ladleful of batter and spread it to a thin three-inch round. Drizzle a little oil all around.
  6. When the underside is cooked, flip the dosa and fry the other side.
  7. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
